We took the girls to 9am mass this morning. The highlight of mass for the girls is taking the donation/gifts up to the front of the church. Kurt and I love watching them walk up there. Reagan always holds the envelope with one hand and then holds Reese's hand with her other hand. It's darling to watch. This morning, once they made it up to the front of the church, Reese turned around and put her hand high in the air and started waving at everyone. I think she was looking for us but was confused once she got up there. As she was waving, Reagan was pulling at her other hand, trying to get her back to our seats.
At the end of mass, Father Len told a story based on "the two cute little girls" who brought their gifts up. He thought it was hilarious how the older sister (aka Reagan) was tugging at Reese, trying to get her to do what she wanted. Apparently Father Len has an older sister so he felt for Reese and asked us all to pray for the younger siblings in the world.
There's nothing like being called out by your priest on a Sunday morning :) It made us smile.
