Fall in Boise

Fall in Idaho really can't be beat. The leaves are changing but the weather is still in the 60s which makes for some wonderful days. Reagan is now working on her 8th week in this world, that's 2 months! We are not exactly sure where the time goes but it seems to be largely allocated to changing diapers, outfits and positions and of course feeding. We really hate to jinx it but lately she has been on a streak of only getting up once or maybe twice during the night. Certainly we are thankful for this. The only issue is that she does not nap during the day. This tends to make it a little frustrating for Lynne when she is trying to get things done during the day but I guess she has chosen nights as her time to sleep. Lynne and I have been trying to take advantage of the friendships and family that we have here in Boise to settle back into a more "normal" life. 3 weeks ago we ventured out for our anniversary for the first time without Reagan. Grandparents Williams came over to watch her and Lynne and I enjoyed a nice dinner at a Basque restaurant in Meridian called Epi's. Last weekend we were invited over to our friends, the Princes, for dinner. We took Reagan along and she was able to meet their little girl of 5 months, Fiona. Then last night we went over to some other friends, the Dahlbergs, for dinner and Reagan was able to see her future boyfriend Keaton. Keaton is also around 5 months. Tonight we had plans to drop Reagan at Grandparents Decker and go to a birthday party but it was canceled at the last minute. Oh well, Lynne and I decided that we are going to go out anyway and try a new Neopolitan pizza place in Eagle called Flame. Well that is the latest from the Williams in Eagle. We are looking forward to packing up Reagan and Obi and heading to the Grandparents Williams' house for Halloween. Having an 8 week old, and a dog that responds to every doorbell ring (even the ones on the Domino's Pizza tv commercials!) is not really conducive to a relaxing Halloween at home.
