Happy Halloween!!

We had such a fun weekend!! I wasn't sure Reagan would be interested at all in dressing up OR trick or treating.....turns out she was a big fan of both!! On Friday we started the day at the doctor for her 2 year appt. Looking back, I shouldn't have scheduled it for Friday, being the eventful day it turned out to be. She was a trooper though, 2 shots and a flu mist in her nose. She was pretty sad after the appointment but took a monster nap and was ready to roll after that. 2 year stats are: 75% for height, 75% for weight, 95% for head circumference. The doctor said if it wasn't for the size of her head she would probably be in the 50% for weight. I got a good laugh out of that. Our big headed little girl!!

So the weekend started out Friday afternoon where we got dressed up and headed down to Papa's office downtown. All the people in the office were happy to see the little lady bug and give her candy. Once in Papa's office, she proceeded to take handfulls of tootsie rolls out of the candy bowl and put them into her trick or treat bag. Her love of trick or treating started there. After Papa's office we headed over to Daddy's office just next door. It was kind of quiet , as most of the little ones had already come and gone. Daddy loved seeing her and so did the rest of the office.

Saturday at noon we headed over to the Calovich household for a super fun Halloween party. There were tons of kids there and tons of fun stuff to do. Face painting, calendar making, cookie decorating, photo booth and more. Ang and Katie did a great job of hosting....we're hoping it's an annual thing!! :)

Saturday night we headed over to the Hollister house for chili and a mini trick or treating around the neighborhood. Their neighborhood is PERFECT for trick or treating w/ 2 year olds! There are only about 11 or 12 homes in the neighborhood and everyone goes out at the same time. So within an hour you're basically done! It was a great time! Thanks for having us!

Sunday (the real day) we had Grammie and Papa over to see Reagan in her costume. We weren't planning on taking her out trick or treating because we had done it the night before but Grammie and Papa ended up taking her to a few homes in our neighborhood. We had pizza for dinner when they returned and then Reagan spent the rest of the evening helping us hand out candy. The doorbell would ring and she would run to the door saying "ding dong, ding dong!!" then once she would see who was at the door she would say "HIIII GUYS!!! HIIIII GUYS!!!!" It was pretty comical. Needless to say, our little lady bug had a great night sleep last night. Today has been pretty boring compared to our exciting weekend. Back to reality I guess!!
